  1. ZeroGravity Says:

cool. The set around Zukko looks quite fake.

Kind of like Dragonball Evolution :|

  2. _iCebendEr Says:

hmmm..aang’s costume isnt the same..i thought that the animated world would just popped out on the real one..
    well..i hope it gets better

  3. Jawn Says:

Everything’s fine by me as long as they portray a kick-ass waterbending art.

And, I think they made Aang’s tattoo like that, to make sense. He was suspended in ice for a century. It would be logical to have it a littler worn off, I think.

    >:3

  4. Heavenly Says:

Yea as long as the set and costumes look authentic everything is fine it doesn’t matter that people don’t fit the roles. *roll eyes*

Good lord do you people truly care about the Avatar or just hoping for a good movie (as if it will be) that only matters?

No wonder the movie studios think they get way with making movies like this.

  5. pronto Says:

I’d wait for the teaser until i decide anything.

  6. Hatter Says:

His tatoo doesn’t look worn, it looks detailed. That, and you have to remember that if they made him look like he did in the cartoon, it wouldn’t come out right in a live action movie.

Even good cosplay looks silly in real life. They want it to look real.

  7. nani Says:

im sad. it looks like it. but it looks like a copy of all the characters….idk.

    i just can’t see that beautiful spark in their eyes. im soo excited!!! mr. ringer looks cute. i want to pinch his cheeks:}

  8. Pissed Says:

idk….the aang guy looks fine…he looks a little too young though. and his arrows look really stupid.

Hatter, you make a REALLY good point haha but still they could make his arrows much more faded and less obvious than that cosplay picture.

but yeah, i think they are trying to do the characters justice without making them look really dumb

  9. Hatter Says:

I think they wanted him to be a bit younger, that way he has time to age between movies, so we don’t have a Harry Potter situation.

  10. Lilly Says:

Ugghh. *face palm* Why is Aang fat, and seven years old?
The arrow looks okay, though I would have liked it to be more blue.
The outfit would look fine for any other movies NOT related to Avatar, but seeing as this is the Live-Action Avatar movie.. it sucks. The garb of the Air Nomads is worn by them for a reason.
Aangs clothes are suppose to be light weight and perfect for air bending. Air bending is composed of swift, quick movements, while this costume has shoes that are tied tightly around the legs, thus hindering movement, and the bracelets jingling around would throw off the air current.

Though the staff looks cool. Kudos to that.

  11. Hatter Says:

Beyond his very round face, Noah doesn’t look that fat. And beyond that, his clothes looks at lot like what a realistic adaptation of Aang’s clothes might be. It looks a lot like a Shaolin wrap, which is what Aang’s entire look is based on.
    For example:

Besides, Aang wers tight leggings in the show too…

  12. Hatter Says:

In fact, it’s harder to do martial arts in loose clothing because the flop around everywhere, Aang wore loose clothes to catch the air around him. That’s why he had the shawl and the pants were open in the back. I never really understood that fully, so I’m glad that they’re changing it. They even did in the show when his clothes got destroyed.
