OMG!!! This looks so epic!!! Hope we get to see the Blue Spirit in this one. Also, all the actors look spot on. Despite complaints about white washing, I think it looks good.

It kind of worries me that there was very little dialogue from the characters. Hopefully the acting will be decent.

Erm, Firebending has its source from ones breath. No outside firesource needed.

Duh, according to the show but not necessarily the movie. If you look at the other firebender he bends the fire from the open fire right next to him. From what I’ve heard the comet allows firebenders to bend without a source of fire, which is why I’m wondering why Iroh can do it and the comet doesn’t show up for another 3 years.

Yea that is the blue spirit, i actually did a double take on that one haha, but seriously i posted a comment a while back saying that a few of the pictures had me doubting the sucess of this movie thinking it was going to be another ‘Dragonball Evolution” fail, but now, dam im really excited and counting down the days that said i am a little iff’y about Sokka…and it is to bad that iroh isnt old and fat and gives the impression of wisdom and power, but then again i have only seen a few seconds so we shall see.

Rygon is correct Ithink. Maybe only master firebenders can make their own fire and the common soldiers cant. that would be fine by me cuz Iroh, Zuko, and Azula could shoot fireballs!= epic (and acurate) battle sequences!!!!!!

ok i have a question, we all have seen book 1 (multiple times), and most of the scenes in the trailer i can guess to what episode they refer to.
however, i dont know about the avatar state at 1:36. in book one, he goes into avatar state on the boat fighting zuko, in the temple after he finds out that gyatso was killed, in the water tribe (when he goes to the spirit world and when he whipes out the fire nation at the end).
so what is the scene at 1:36? it looks like he can control the avatar state already, in the series he can only do that a lot later. if he can already master the avatar state, this would take away an important element of the series, IMO.
any thoughts?

i think its at the Northern Water Tribe. cause then you see the water flooding the ships and destroying everything! but thats just my opinion :3

Trailer looks awesome online. I wish I saw it in the theaters. I saw the Percy Jackson movie on Friday and NO Last Airbender trailer. VERY disappointing. =(

This movie looks so good!!! the T.V series was AWESOME so this movie should be(at least) more than half as good. I really enjoyed the cartoon series, looks good.. Hope M.Night Shyamalan doesn’t screw it up.. (cross my fingers) In book 1 of Season one means first movie.
I cant wait to see it and soo exciting.!^.^
